Compassion
Thu, 2015-01-29 17:39 — MichaelI've suffered from mental illness and have done well for years with some relapses. To me one of the most important things in my life after a belief in God is to be compassionately understood and cared for. For people to care enough about me and my metal health experience to have empathy for what I'm experiencing or have experienced and to put the care and knowledge into practice in improving things for me, them, family life, community life, church life etc. is not only a source of meaning but really an experience of being truly loved from what I am as a person!!!
