Brandi Richmond

Brandi is the Manager of Programs and Operations at Mental Health America and performs bookkeeping functions, while assisting with workplace giving and other fundraising initiatives. Brandi joined MHA in March 2018 following her exciting internship opportunities at the Capital Area Food Bank and at the Epilepsy Foundation, where she gained experience with conducting research on potential partners and/or donors, designing health surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and promoting campaigns. She graduated from the University of Maryland – College Park with a degree in Community Health. From her own personal experiences, she is passionate about spreading awareness and alleviating stigma around mental health, specifically within the African-American community.
