Maddy Reinert

Maddy Reinert joined Mental Health America in 2018 and currently serves as Policy and Programs Associate. She assists with the MHA Screening and Screening 2 Supports (S2S) programs, supports the policy and programs teams in conducting research and developing public education materials, and provides technical assistance to MHA affiliates, staff and stakeholders.

Prior to working at MHA, Maddy received her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Law, Policy and Ethics from the University of Virginia. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology and Global Public Health from UVA. Through her studies and lived experience, Maddy has developed a passion for mental health policy and advocacy, and she has a particular interest in applying public health approaches to the prevention of mental health conditions.
