"Mental Health America announces the resignation of its President and CEO, Wayne W. Lindstrom, Ph.D., effective September 19, 2013. During his time in this position, he furthered MHA's advocacy leadership around prevention, early intervention, whole person treatment, recovery, and wellness."

"David Shern, Ph.D. will serve as the interim CEO for MHA beginning September 23, 2013. Dr. Shern currently serves as Science Advisor for Mental Health America and also served as CEO of Mental Health America from 2006-2012."
